Katie

Katie graduated from Nelson College for Girls in 2021 where she received NZQA Outstanding Scholarship in Chemistry and Scholarship Physics in addition to an overall excellence endorsement for all levels of NCEA.  She also received several prizes in the final year at Nelson College for girls including the award for the Top Overall Science student.

She is currently in her third year at the University of Canterbury studying towards a Bachelor of Science (double majoring in Chemistry and Linguistics) and was awarded a UC Academic Excellence Scholarship for 2022.

Katie is an active member of the University of Canterbury Chemistry Society. In her spare time she also enjoys Taekwon-do, playing the piano, and snowboarding when the ski fields are open. She also volunteers for Big Brothers Big Sisters, and was previously an academic mentor at NCG.

Katie can assist your child in all levels of NCEA Chemistry and Physics in addition to Level 1 and 2 Maths. Junior Maths and Science (Yr 7-10) available on request.
