James

James completed NCEA Level 3 in 2021, and received NZQA Outstanding Scholarship in Chemistry, and Scholarship Physics, Biology and Calculus in addition to an overall excellence endorsement for all levels of NCEA. He was Dux of Christ’s College, Canterbury and Academic Prefect in his final year.

James is currently in his second year at the University of Canterbury where he is studying towards a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Hons) and BSc in Maths and Computer Science. He was previously studying maths and chemistry at Victoria University of Wellington where he was a recipient of the 2021 Victoria Tangiwai School Leaver Scholarship for Excellence, and a Deans List 2022 recipient for excellence in academic achievement.

James enjoys various musical pursuits and is a keen swimmer, having represented New Zealand throughout his high-school years.
